Intelligent Grants Analysis
The Provincial Council of Bizkaia annually manages a significant volume of grants for a wide range of companies and entities. It is crucial for the Provincial Council to measure the real impact of these grants to design more effective policies and allocate resources to the most beneficial programs. Currently, evaluating this impact represents a considerable challenge, given the complexity of analyzing in detail the financial and performance documentation of the beneficiary companies.
WhiteBox has designed an innovative solution that uses web scraping techniques and analysis of unstructured documents with LLMs (Large Language Models), to capture and organize key data on the financial and performance of subsidized companies. This information is stored in a database and is correlated with the details of the grants received, allowing the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs) on the effect of these grants. The KPIs are visualized in an interactive dashboard developed in Power BI.
With this system, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia can make decisions based on data, accurately analyze the impact of its policies and optimize the distribution of public resources. The process, once manual and laborious, is now fully automated, allowing for faster and more efficient analysis. The integration of data into a single database and its visualization in Power BI make it easier to obtain global conclusions, significantly improving strategic decision-making.
